Metallica.
Train journey to London.

I sat next to Mike.

First spot was McDonalds.

Tubing.

The first real spot was St. Pauls.

This guy with a camera has the same T-shirt as Callum.

Michael filmed a line.

Jonny says this is the building where they film that program called Smart. (With the little orange clay man.)

Jonathan from Big Brother.

Jonny pretended to noseslide this ledge.

First go.

Mike also filmed a trick down the 10.

Pure touristy.

We went to White Gardens skatepark. It's got so many banks.

Ben took us to this gnarly handrail.

Jonny rolled both his ankles at the same time.

Stink.

Where's the giant microphone?

We skated to Liverpool Street.

Jamacan stereotype number 1.

Benches got tricked on.

We bought apples on the underground, probably the most unhealthy place to buy fruit.

Ben bought a T-shirt from Tuesday.

Cantelowes.

Kinda killed the mood.

After Cantelowes everyone went home.
This is the next day...I met Nick and Talman at Kings Cross and we went to Nicks flat.

Talman stole this from a party he went to the night before.

Metallica tickets!

The toilet has a glass window at the top, so everyone gets well paranoid when they use it.

On the way to Wembley.

'Are we there yet?'

We all bought tour T-shirts, of course.

We qued here for 3 hours.

Ice cream.

We resorted to reading every detail on the tickets.

I went to get more ice creams and when I got back there were photos like this on my camera.

When we finally got let in we were in the first 2,000 which means inner circle!

Gutted.

Since we were guaranteed to be at the front, we could go toilet, get food etc.

The dryers were well powerfull.

Chillin', at Wembley Stadium...

It started getting pretty packed.

More pizza.

first on were Mastadon.

They used a lot of different time signitures, pretty impressive.

After Mastadon we waited for the next band.

£3.80.

Machine Head.

I was skeptical at first...

...But once the whole 2,000 people were in a giant circle pit I started enjoying myself.

It was fucking crazy.

I bought a cup of water for £1.80, and because we're so cheap we kept the cup and refilled it in the fountains.

The final support band were HIM for some reason.

They got the ultimate piss took out of them.

At first it was little things...

...Then it escalated.

People started dancing and doing ballet.

Then a big Okey-cokey formed.

This was the pinicle of portraying disgust at HIM's music. Screaming on the floor holding your ears.

The classic 'turn around and swear' came into play.

And to finish- the conga.

It really was that bad.

It's fair to say HIM sucked dick.

Time for Metallica...

They came on to the Ecstacy of Gold- Jamie Thomas' slow-mo music on 'Dying to Live.'

Metallica!

The crowd went insane.

James Hetfield.

Kirk Hammet.

More Hetfield.

Lars Ulrich.

I think it was 80,000 people?

Robert Trujillo and Hammet playing 'Orion.'

It was well good.

If you havn't seen Metallica, go do it.

The old 'get yer lighter out in the ballad songs', which has been replaced with 'get yer phones out...'

These massiev fireworks went off at the start of 'One'.

So loud/bright/hot/close.

'One' was my favourite song of the night.

Hetfield and Trujillo.

This is the mosh for 'Whiplash' in the encore.

I think this was their last song- 'Seek and Destroy.'

Lars and Trujillo.

I somehow found Talman- I look pure doped up.

That was amazing.

Classic Metallica ending pose.

Talman got one of the plectrums they threw out.

80,000 people on the way out.

Police on horses were crazy.
Stoked, but we were at Wembley for over 10 hours- knackered.

Back at the flat, Talman was first to go.

Me and Nick played Jenga.

Gutted if you didnt go.

I slept with Nick. This is in the morning.

Me and Talman went shopping.

We pure gauged ourselves.

You know you want a bit of Stephanie from LazyTown. We all do...

We slobbed it up for hours watching Trisha.

We finally decided to do something, so we walked to oxford street.

'Basi would love this shop- loads of umbrellas and walking sticks...'

I bought Lamb of God's 'Sacrament' album.

Talman and Dimebag.

Next we went to Denmark Street- It's just loads of music shops.

Fuck walking- we got the bus back.

More slobbing.

On the train home we sat on the floor.

Then we sat in first class.

Then we got moved to standard, but we found seats anyway.

Hmmm... '
tastes' like fresh milk.

We saw Kieren at Leicester- he just
had to be in the blog.

Saw Quiche, Sarah and Chim in Syston.

'Can I get a BATTERY!?'
